Are you ready to rock? On Thursday, Rock ‘N Wheels Bike and Car Cruise Night returns to the Village Green.
Bring your lawn chairs and get ready for a full night of fun, music, and food from 6 to 10 p.m., with a national act taking the stage. Headlining the night will be a punk rock and glam metal trailblazer. Grammy-nominated, lead guitarist of the all-girl band, The Runaways, with cult classics like “Cherry Bomb” and “Wasted,” you won’t want to miss Lita Ford taking the 95.9 The River FM stage at 8 p.m.
Opening the night for her will be the Ozzy-Era Black Sabbath cover band, War Pigs. It’s night of iconic metal music you won’t want to miss.
Be sure to make your way down to the Addison Historical Museum where a historical portrayal of Martha Washington will be done by the wonderful Lynn Remarz to celebrate America 250! There will also be a chance to ring the historic fire bell in exchange for some free America 250 swag. The museum buildings will be open from 6 to 8 p.m., and the Craft and Vintage Fair will line the museum buildings for you to explore.
Food, beverages, and ice cream will be available for purchase from Addison's very own: 601 Bar & Grill, Holy Smokes BBQ, Italian Bakery, Lou Malnati's, Muggs-N-Manor, Tacos Puebla, and Dunkley's Tavern.
Stop by the Car Show located at Green Meadow Shopping Center where you can see classic cars in the spots along Lake Street only. Custom bikes can park on the East side of May Street to be viewed as well.
