Rock ‘N Wheels continues Thursday with Earth, Wind & Fire tribute band

Posted

Rock ‘N Wheels Bike & Car Cruise Night continues this Thursday (weather permitting) with performances from 6 to 10 p.m. on the Village Green.

This Thursday evening will feature a night of multi-genre funk, soul, and disco music. The Village of Addison presents Shining Star, an Earth, Wind & Fire tribute band, starting their set at 8 p.m.

Opening the evening is 3 Flights Up, an R&B, soul cover band, performing from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.

The fun doesn’t end there, however. Stop by the Addison Historical Museum for a portrayal of Abigail Adams done by Rebecca Tulloch, or ring the historic fire bell on the museum grounds to celebrate the United States’ 250th anniversary. Be sure to take a look around inside at the exhibits in the museum as well, or visit the Craft & Vintage Fair lining the museum buildings. All of this is available from 6 to 8 p.m. and entrance to the museum is free.

Food, beverages and ice cream will be available for purchase from Addison's very own: Holy Smokes, Barbara's Polish Deli, La Michoacana, El Ancla Mariscos, Lou Malnati's, Juan Y Yo Taco Grill, and Dunkley's Tavern.

Additionally, swing by the Car Show located at Green Meadow Shopping Center where you can see classic cars in the spots along Lake Street only. Custom bikes can park on the East side of May Street to be viewed as well.
