Rock ‘N Wheels returns for 15th season June 4

Rock ‘N Wheels is back for its 15th season, and it’s going to be a be a big one!

Every Thursday from 6-10 p.m. on the Village Green features food from Addison restaurants, including fan favorites and some names that are new to Rock N Wheels.

The Classic Car Cruise night parking is available at Green Meadow Shopping Center, and you won’t want to miss it on June 11. That night features TV celebrity Danny Koker from Counting Cars, who will be walking the grounds and checking out the bikes. Bring your hot rods and custom motorcycles!

The Addison Historical Museum will have an open house each week, with the Craft & Vintage Fair going on in front of the Museum buildings. New historical presentations and portrayals will take place each week.

Rock ‘N Wheels features two great bands every week, and this year’s schedule has something for everyone.

Start the season off strong on June 4 with Van Halen tribute band “Jump”, plus “Bad Motor Scooter” Boom Boom, out go the Lights on June 11, with the “Pat Travers Band”; plus “Counts 77”.

Additionally, come witness the fourth and fifth generations of stunt motorcycle riders as they defy gravity in the Urius Family Globe of Death. How many motorcycles can fit in a 16-foot sphere and cheat death? Come and find out at their third appearance at Rock ’N Wheels.

June 18 sees the return of Talking Heads tribute “Big Suit” plus “Electric Cars” Then on June 25, the one and only “Sebastian Bach” will be rocking the Village Green. Opening up the night is “Judas Rising.”

Kick off your Fourth of July weekend on Thursday July 2 with the ultimate tribute band “Infinity” plus Smashing Pumpkins tribute “Infinite Sadness.” There will be a grand fireworks finale that you can watch right from your seat.

Come back July 9 for recording artist “Easton Corbin” plus “Belles.” Earth, Wind and Fire tribute band “Shining Star” will be taking over on July 16. Opening up the night is Addison favorite Ollie Bolds’ “3 Flights Up.”

The rest of the summer lineup includes national act “Lita Ford,” Styx tribute “Anthems Grand Illusion,” System of a Down tribute “Peephole,” Eagles tribute band “Heartache Tonight and Metallica tribute “The Four Horseman.”
