Styx tribute band to perform at Rock ‘N Wheels Thursday

Posted

Continuing the summer season’s Rock ‘N Wheels Bike & Car Cruise Night performances from 6 to 10 p.m. this Thursday on the Village Green is a night of classic rock music you won’t want to miss.

The Village of Addison will headline the night with Anthem’s Grand Illusion, a Styx tribute band, starting their set at 8 p.m.

Ready to rock at the start of the night will be MizzConstrued, a Classic Rock cover band, which will start its show at 6:30 p.m., bringing you hits from the 1980s until now.

But the fun doesn’t end there. Stop by the Addison Historical Museum for a "Silhouette Art" performance by Cassidy Alexander, or ring the historic fire bell on the museum grounds to celebrate the United States’ 250th anniversary. Be sure to take a look around inside at the exhibits in the museum as well, or stop by the Craft & Vintage Fair lining the museum buildings. All of this is available from 6 to 8 p.m. and entrance to the museum is free.

Food, beverages, and ice cream will be available for purchase from Addison's very own: 601 Bar & Grill, Barbara's Polish Deli, Culvers, El Ancla Mariscos, Muggs-N-Manor, Tacos Puebla and Dunkley's Tavern.

Swing by the Car Show located at Green Meadow Shopping Center where you can see classic cars in the spots along Lake Street only. Custom bikes can park on the East side of May Street to be viewed as well.

The Village of Addison looks forward to entertaining you every Thursday this summer with these performances. For more information, visit ItHappensInAddison.com
