Addison Township is hosting its second annual Luz de los Muertos event this Sunday, Nov. 1, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Addison Township campus. Parking is at 50 E. Oak St.
Luz de los Muertos is a community celebration of Día de los Muertos, bringing families together to honor and remember loved ones who have passed away.
The event will feature ofrendas (remembrance altars), entertainment, and community resources. Attendees are welcome to bring a photo of a loved one for our community ofrenda and a canned food donation to support the Addison Township Community Market.
